This is the online shop of author Spencer Rose, run by Rachel Beaney in Sydney, Australia. This policy explains what information is collected when you use this website and how it's used.

What is collected
When you buy something, your name, email address, delivery address and order details are collected to process and deliver your order. Payments are handled by Shopify and its payment providers. I never see or store your full card details.

When you join my newsletter or download a free story, your email address is collected so I can send you the story and occasional updates about my books.

This website uses cookies, including analytics and advertising cookies from Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to understand how people use the site and to show relevant ads. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

Who your information is shared with
Only the services needed to run the shop:
Shopify, which hosts the store and processes payments
Bookvault, which prints and posts print books, and receives your name and delivery address
BookFunnel, which delivers ebooks, and receives your name and email address
MailerLite, which sends my newsletter
Google and Meta, for analytics and advertising
Each of these services handles data under its own privacy policy. I don't sell your information.

Your choices
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. You can also ask me what information I hold about you, or ask me to correct or delete it, by emailing spencer@spencerrosewrites.com.

Changes
I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
